About Me

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to ones courage.
– Anais Nin

As a mother, wife, daughter and professional, I understand many of the challenges we face in our relationships. I believe that all people have the capacity and desire to feel connected, heal and grow.  I enjoy using my life experience and work as an actress and therapist to assist clients see and experience things in different ways — to open up to new perspectives and possibilities.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving the Wood River Valley. Prior to practicing in Idaho I worked at an Untied Way Agency in Columbus, Georgia serving a diverse population. I became certified in Trauma and Military. I also have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Trauma Resiliency Model.  My work as s Mental Health Partner at Higher Ground serving Military Veterans, their families and supporters is a great privilege and passion.

My experience as a professional actress serves my work as a valuable tool to craft and tailor creative therapeutic interventions and strategies. In my coaching and consulting I use these skills to develop programs dedicated to teaching theatre skills to enhance authenticy and communication from the boardroom, to the bedroom, classroom and beyond. Previous clients include attorneys, physicians, corporate leaders, managers and educators. I find the common denominator in all populations to be a longing for connection, comfort and compassion. So whether I am counseling, coaching or consulting, my skills as a Licensed Professional Counselor and an Actor’s Equity Actress combine to help people wanting to take the necessary risks to grow.
